Abstract

|
The screening program for fermentation products has undergone many changes and continues to change. With the marketing of polyether antibiotics as an anticoccidial drug and for ruminant feed efficiency improvement, an intense interest in finding new polyether antibiotics has arisen. Structure-oriented screening method for polyether antibiotics and the application of physical-chemical methods, particulary various NMR techniques to the identification of polyether antibiotics were summarized.
